Took a little trip to go see the smith college botanical gardens last weekend. Specifically because the bulb show had just started. Im really feeling sick of winter at this point so it was nice to go in and get a breath of fresh air. Literally, and smell some of the beautiful flowers they had. Thankfully I took plenty of photos but it really does not do it justice with how nice it was.

I personally really enjoyed the amount of purple flowers in this years show. Purple is my favorite color, probably not hard to guess because of the color scheme of my website haha. I really enjoyed the hyacinth, the smell was amazing and personally they're one of my favorites. This has really inspired me to remember that its no longer winter, so my plants will start needing water more frequently soon. But its also a nice reminder that spring will be back soom. It was really refreshing to see so many colors coming naturally compared to the ones we see in the winter artificially. The way plants grow is very impressive to me. Seeing the variations and how every flower is unique will always be facinating to me.

There were so many pink flowers. Not that im complaining, its a beautiful color, espcially the shades that are found most commonly in nature. Around here I needed to take a seat so it was nice to take in all the nature around me. When it was time to go it felt odd seeing the snow while walking to my car. The smith college campus is lovely, rain or shine.
